Step 1: Create a Character
Before ANYONE can role-play, they need to have a persona to role-play with. That's what RPGing is. When creating a custom character, keep in mind that this will be yourself in the world of TMD, but there is still a separating divider: respect the community. No matter what personality you take in the RPG Realm, you must remain respectful and do NOT let the attitude and/or acting get out of hand. Once you have made a character bio complete with a name, powers and abilities, life story, and preferably a picture, you can set off on an adventure or battle.
Step 2: Suggest an Idea/Join an Ongoing RPG
Depending on your preference, you may choose to join an RPG if allowed by the RPG's creator and jump right in or suggest an idea for an RPG of your own in the appropriate section. Either way, once it is approved you can begin RPGing.
Step 3: Stay active
Nothing is more frustrating to you and/or the RPGers around you when an RPG is left for dead. If something comes up, let your fellow RPGers know that you cannot post, so that they can either wait for you or continue as best as they can.
Step 3: Have Fun!
That's pretty much it. Abide by the rules and enjoy yourself!
RPG - "Role-Playing". Can be replaced with "RP".
God-Mod - giving a character an unfair advantage, usually spontaneously and without repercussion. This includes but is not limited to one-hit kills, incessant teleportation, prolonged invincibility, and constantly unbreakable barriers.
(As more terms are debated, they will be added.)
